Rokovodostop

Waterproofing coating based on polymer dispersion with special fillers and additives. Rokovodostop is a highly resistant waterproofing coating that resists water penetration, short-term water pressure and radon exposure. Its use is advantageous for perfect waterproofing of the surroundings (under tiles, tiles) of baths, showers, kitchens, etc. The colour of the coating is pleasant blue and the quality control of the coating can be easily controlled.

It is applied by brush, roller or spraying in two, preferably three layers. Each new layer is applied after the previous layer has dried. Apply the new coat crosswise (perpendicular) to the previous coat. In case of cracks and possible static stresses (corners and fractures of the building), we recommend using a rubber-textile sealing strip "dichtband" in these areas. The application of the rubber-textile sealing tape is done by pressing it into the undried first layer. The total thickness of the waterproofing coating shall be a minimum of 1 mm. The waterproofing layer thus prepared must be overlaid with paving - i.e. in such a way that the layer of Rokovodostop is protected from mechanical damage. The coating is not resistant to direct sunlight and is not abrasion resistant. The material can be applied at substrate and ambient temperatures above 5°C. When used on absorbent substrates, plasterboard or anhydrite screeds, we recommend Rokolatex primer (in the case of old weathered substrates, Rokogrund Profi). All materials should be applied on a dry substrate. The surface must be free of dust, grease, dirt and must not be frozen. As an adhesive for ceramic tiles intended for Rokovodostop we recommend adhesives of the Rokokeram series - i.e. Special, C1 or C2.
